Beijing Ninestars Intelligent Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area

The company started to distribute many top Chinese medical brands to AIER Eye Hospital group as their sole agent.

Together with AIER Eye Hospital and the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Ninestars Medical launched the “Intelligent Eye Health” regional key project. As the primary implementing unit of the STS (Science, Technology and Society) program, the company developed and released the Fully Automatic Non-Mydriatic Fundus Camera (Mars D200).

The company established its subsidiary, Hunan Ninestars Intelligent Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., marking the start of its group-based development strategy in ophthalmic devices.

Slit Lamp Microscopes (PL-200, PL-300) obtained the Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate issued by the Hunan Medical Products Administration..

Beijing Ninestars Medical invested in and acquired Liaoning Yishikang Hi-Tech New Instrument Equipment Co., Ltd.

The Hand-held Slit Lamp (PL150) obtained the Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate issued by the Hunan Medical Products Administration.

The Fully Automatic Refractor (HY 100) obtained the Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate issued by the Hunan Medical Products Administration.

The independently developed Fully Automatic Non-Mydriatic Fundus Camera (Mars D200s) obtained its Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate. Beijing Ninestars Medical made its first independent brand appearance at CCOS 2023 and CIOF 2023, showcasing the Mars D200s and PL150, marking a new phase in its brand-building journey.

The company invested in and acquired a subsidiary, Hunan Aoshi Medical Technology Co., Ltd., expanding into the ophthalmic digital diagnosis and treatment business segment.

The Fully Automatic Refractive Screener (MC 260, MC 260s) obtained the Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate issued by the Hunan Medical Products Administration.

The Fully Automatic Non-Contact Tonometer and Fully Automatic Ophthalmic Optical Biometer obtained the Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate issued by the Hunan Medical Products Administration.

Beijing Ninestars Medical invested in and acquired Beijing Jiacheng Shixin Digital Medical Technology Co., Ltd., further strengthening its digital ophthalmology business.

The company acquired Shengluokai Medical Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., expanding into R&D and manufacturing of dry eye diagnosis and treatment devices.

Beijing Ninestars Medical entered into a strategic cooperation with Mingyue Lenses and established Hunan Ninestars Intelligent Optical Technology Co., Ltd. This subsidiary will build Hunan’s largest intelligent lens production center and aim to develop a world-leading lens brand.

The company invested in Shanghai Skyvision Technology Development Co., Ltd. (China’s general agent for Japan’s Tomey), accelerating the formation of a nationwide sales network and creating a market system integrating equipment, consumables, and optometric products.

the Specular Microscope obtained the Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate issued by China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

In September 2025, Beijing Ninestars Medical hosted the VPR Global Academic Conference, collaborating with more than ten top domestic hospitals to exchange clinical achievements of the Wide-Field Retinal Refractive Topographer, marking a significant breakthrough for Beijing Ninestars Medical in the global innovative field of fundus refractive measurement.
